Stage 08 · Love over fear Lesson 1 of 3
Love, fear, or an assumption
Before you choose, see where the choice is coming from: love, fear, or an old assumption.
Read it instead
Lesson one. Love, fear, or an assumption. Before you choose, see where the choice is coming from: love, fear, or an old assumption. Every choice comes from somewhere. Often there's an assumption first: old programming, something you believe with no evidence yet, like "nobody would care about my story". Name it, then get curious, or let yourself not know. What's left is love or fear, and you can feel the difference. Love feels open, light and free. Fear feels tight and heavy: "I have to". Why it matters. Fear and old assumptions keep you performing. Love lets you express. Catching the difference is how you choose your own voice. For example. "I'll post when it's perfect": fear, dressed up as quality. Or: "It scares me, and I want to say it anyway": love. Where this leads. Stage 8 builds courage, starting with seeing where your choices come from. Hold on to this. An assumption is your old programming: something you believe is true, with no evidence yet. Set it aside, and what's left is love or fear. You can feel which is which.

Why do you stay in prison when the door is so wide open?
In plain words
Often the only thing keeping us stuck is believing we're stuck. The way out is already open.
For this lesson
An unchecked assumption is the prison. Naming it is noticing the door was open.
