The practice, in words

  1. 01Bring to mind a choice you're weighing. Settle into your breath first.
  2. 02Say the first option out loud. For example: I keep doing this work.
  3. 03Now notice. Does your body open and lighten, or close and tighten?
  4. 04Let that go. Take a breath. Now say the other option out loud.
  5. 05Notice again. Open and lighter, or closed and tighter?
  6. 06Opening usually points toward love. Tightening usually points toward fear. Neither is wrong. Both are information.
The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you. Don't go back to sleep.
